*WARNING: Love Is Blind spoilers below*
Another Love Is Blind couple has called it quits before even walking down the aisle when their pod connection was lost.
Netflix viewers saw Jackie Bonds develop feelings for both Josh Demas and Marshall Glaze before deciding to pursue the latter.
They struggled to bond following their first meeting, which resulted in arguments and breakdowns during their romantic trip to Mexico.
In the second batch of episodes, Josh arrived at a cast party and made a beeline for his former flame, seeking to turn her head.
In the new episodes, she avoided discussing his comments with her partner, then skipped her wedding dress fitting before meeting up with Josh in secret for a heart-to-heart.
‘Losing you is my biggest regret. I do love you. I want to be together,’ he told her, to which she admitted that she ‘chose wrong’ by going ahead with her fiancé in the pods instead of him.
She said that she wanted them to give things a chance, but added that she had no aspirations to marry “anytime soon.”
When she told Marshall where she stood, she argued that her feelings for him were genuine, but she felt closer to Josh.
‘That is very hurtful,’ he replied. ‘I would like the ring back because I don’t think that you deserved it.
‘Because you should have never accepted my proposal.’
When she refused, he vowed: ‘Every time you look at it, I want you to be reminded that you passed up on something great.’
‘I chose wrong,’ he added to the cameras. ‘I wish her nothing but the best. If that’s with Josh, do your thing. Good luck.’
Although it is unclear whether Jackie and Josh will appear in the remaining episodes, they were recently spotted out and about, implying that they are happily married.
We should get answers soon, as hosts Vanessa and Nick Lachey stated that the season four reunion will be shot live on April 16th.
Yes, seriously.
In a first for Netflix, the presenters will be on hand to “unravel all the season’s twists and turns, share responses to watching their stories evolve, and discover out which couples are still together after saying “I do” and “I don’t.”
‘I’m holding on for dear life,’ Nick remarked on the Today show on what to expect.
‘It’s going to be a lot to digest. The reunion gives everybody a chance to clear the air, get those questions answered. And doing it live is certainly going to add a whole other layer of intrigue.’
Bring it on.
Love Is Blind is available to stream on Netflix now.
