The yearly smash dating programme’s tenth season premieres on Monday, June 5 at 9 p.m., and yes, Maya Jama is back to steal the show once more with her contagious charisma and sensational clothes.
While programme executives have been tight-lipped regarding the summer 2023 cast, it has been reported that Mehdi would arrive late during the opening episode.
Insiders feel he has the potential to be this year’s Davide Sanclimenti.
A source shared: ‘Mehdi is the definition of tall, dark and handsome and will be a lot of the girls’ type on paper.
‘His smouldering stare and French accent are going to make him one of the most in demand boys in the villa,’ they added to the Sun.
Love Island has revealed revised duty of care rules for the show’s tenth season, which will air this summer.
Following a ‘first trial phase’ during the winter season in South Africa, participants would be formally instructed to stop all social media accounts throughout the competition.
The new cast will go through video training and instruction on a variety of issues, including mutually respectful behaviour in relationships, controlling and coercive behaviour patterns, and language around disability, sexuality, race and ethnicity, and microaggressions.
At the moment this year’s cast has been kept under wraps, however according to MailOnline economics graduate Andre Furtado is one of the stars set to enter the villa.
‘Andre is the perfect Love Island signing… he’s cool, calm, collected, and ready to mingle,’ a source said.
A spokesperson for Love Island said that any rumours so far are speculation and the line-up will be announced in due course.
Love Island returns on Monday June 5 at 9pm on ITV2.
