We’re only two days into the new season of Love Island, but many fans believe they know who will be the first person dumped from the island.
On tonight’s edition of the 2023 show, bombshell Tom Clare has a big decision to make after being given the authority to choose a girl to date.
All of the girls were already in relationships with the other boys in the South African villa, which meant that the footballer’s decision would leave one boy vulnerable.
In the end, Tom chose Olivia Hawkins after being impressed by her ring girl talents, putting farmer Will Young in a perilous situation ahead of the first Winter Love Island elimination.
Fans anticipate that Will will be the first candidate dumped on the show due to his inability to form a strong connection with any prospective romantic connections.
‘Just put £1000 on Will being first to go home,’ one person tweeted, while another wrote: ‘I just know will is gonna be the first one out poor boy.’

Some were upset that Will was leaving because he’d already offered plenty of amusement with his terrible dance moves.
‘Honestly watch will get dumped first. That’s gonna be sad,’ a viewer stated, while another remarked: ‘Feel so sorry for Will. He is clearly such a nice guy but he’s not gonna be the first to go isn’t he.’
However, considering the twist presented at the end of Tuesday’s episode, not all is as it appears.
There are two new bombshells entering the villa, so who knows who they’ll connect with when they stir the pot?
Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown, 25, and David Salako, 24, are expected to join the lineup on Wednesday night, with the former vowing to “add spice” to the mix.
David, on the other hand, admitted that he’s very picky, stating: ‘The person you’re going to meet is never going to be perfect, but I’ve got my standards, yeah.’
So, could Zara be Will’s saviour, keeping him on the show?
Love Island returns on Wednesday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
