Keen-eyed Love Island viewers spotted one couple getting steamy under the sheets in tonight’s episode, after slamming most of the programme as ‘dry’ and ‘boring’.

After the islanders spent the day playing mummies and daddies to plastic dolls, Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Culculoglu shared what looked to be an intimate moment under the covers.

The pair, who have had their fair share of drama across the series, are favourites to win this year, after constantly being drawn back towards each other after explosive rows.

Their rollercoaster relationship reached a high a few days ago, after the Italian Stallion gave the Turkish soap star a romantic gesture in the form of a tiramisu.

Knowing that the way to a woman’s heart is through her stomach, Davide baked Ekin a tasty chocolate dessert to ask if she will be ‘his’, leading to an intense kiss and a smiley Ekin-Su saying: ‘Yes!’

And tonight, their relationship seemed to intensify as the couple, who haven’t shared too many steamy sessions once the lights are out, seemed to get hot under the covers.

While the islanders have commented on which of them ‘opened the salon’, so far Davide and Ekin-Su have shared little more than a kiss, but tonight that seemed to change.

‘At the end of the show when Ekin-Su and Davide are going to try and get ready to make their baby,’ one viewer wrote, while another added: ‘I have a strong feeling Davide and Ekin-Su might have been getting a bit too freaky there lol.’

Someone else penned: ‘Ekin-Su and Davide what’s that elevation on the bed, producers please send Ekinde to the hideaway’.

Elsewhere in tonight’s episode, Ekin-Su delivered the performance of her life as she belted out Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

Surprising the villa with her rendition, she took centre stage with her nursery rhyme performance, leaving the other islanders in hysterics.

Love Island continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV2.
