A Love Island member has apparently already been kicked out of the island, leaving the rest of the cast surprised.
Following the entrance of bombshell Sammy Root on last night’s show, which triggered a recoupling, one participant has been booted and sent home.
‘It’s just days into the show but already one of the cast is going home,’ an insider said.
They added to The Sun: ‘It proves the producers are pulling out all the stops this series to deliver twists and drama for viewers. Nobody is safe!’
The shocking announcement comes after project manager Sammy, 22, went on three dates with three different females during Thursday’s episode and acknowledged to the lads that he ‘didn’t care’ whether he trod on anyone’s toes.
He added: ‘When you see what you want and someone else is with her, it’s water off a duck’s back.’
He brought Jess Harding, Molly Marsh (who was left in tears earlier in the episode), and Ella Thomas to the hideaway, despite the fact that Jess had yet to discover a spark with anybody in the Majorca digs.
Meanwhile, as she was relaxing on the day beds Ella got a text which read: ‘Ella, I’m waiting to date you on the hideaway terrace. I’ll give the other two girls a shout later.’
This generated quite a fuss, because Ella had just kissed her lover Tyrique the night before.
Before going into the villa, he was asked why he signed up for the ITV2 dating show and admitted: ‘I’ve always got girls on my mind, so what better way to find a nice girl than in the Love Island Villa!’
When it comes to competition on the programme, Sammy insists he has a ‘bubbly personality’ to match his good looks.
He added: ‘I stand out from everyone else purely on appearance. Most attractive people have the personality of a sponge, but I’m not lacking in that department either.’
Love Island continues Friday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
