Adam Collard has opened up about his childhood in scenes for Celebs Go Dating, and the conversation might shed light on his love choices.
Since her debut on Love Island in 2018, the reality TV star has been a divisive figure.
He was accused of gaslighting Rosie Williams, and Women’s Aid issued a warning to women about ‘abusive relationships’ as a result.
He reappeared in 2022 and married Paige Thorne, but they broke up with the release of video showing the personal trainer with his arms around another lady at a McDonald’s.
‘I was getting sent more videos of him on nights out that didn’t go viral and that were just really shady and I wasn’t comfortable in it,’ she explained.
Now, Paul C Brunson who is a dating expert on the E4 show has told fans that we’re going to see a different side to Adam, 27, which may explain his behaviour.
‘Before joining the agency, I didn’t know about Adam Collard’s public perception,’ Paul explained.
‘Our journey together unveiled the authentic Adam Collard and I found him to be a truly remarkable man with incredible business acumen.’
Paul, 48, believes Adam will challenge popular image on the show, which challenges celebs to date with the help of Paul and Anna Williamson.
‘In several agency sessions he shares his emotions and it’s a glimpse into his soul that will captivate even those unsure about him.
‘Let’s remember, our adult actions often have roots in childhood experiences.’
He concluded: ‘Keep an open heart for Adam; he’s genuinely special.’
Rumours have circulated that Adam is dating Celebs. Lottie Moss, 25, from Go Dating, after they were seen holding hands on a night out.
‘I mean, where there is smoke there is fire,’ laughed Anna when asked about the gossip. ‘It’s a dating agency and celebrities get close.
‘We’re together a long time and they often lean on each other for support and sometimes that support can also segue into more than that.’
Celebs Go Dating continues tonight at 9pm on E4.
