According to reports, Arabella Chi from Love Island was pulled screaming from her car in a frightening incident.
According to reports, police officials notified the TV celebrity that she was the target of an organised crime cell.
The 32-year-old reportedly had her car’s tyres slashed while on a boat before the terrifying event occurred, while returning from Ibiza to Barcelona with her father Paul.
‘Arabella heard the doors unlock before being dragged out. She was absolutely terrified – but she screamed and fought back,’ a source said.
They continued to The Sun: ‘She had no idea what these men wanted and feared the worst. They raided the car for everything they could.’
The intruders allegedly stole Arabella’s bags, money, and passports, but she was able to save her phone after pleading loudly.
Arabella was alone in the car when she was reportedly attacked, since her father had exited to try to hail a cab when they noticed there was a problem with the tyres.
According to reports, the organised criminal organisation utilised a high-tech gadget to remotely open the car.
After the perpetrators fled, Arabella was able to return to her car and phone her father, who returned with Spanish police officers.
‘Arabella is so shaken, but pleased to be back home. It was a hugely traumatic experience for both her and Paul, who is reeling,’ the source said.
Arabella, who is presently dating Manchester City midfielder Ruben Dias, rose to prominence after appearing on ITV’s Love Island in 2019.
After being paired up with Danny Williams, the model joined the villa on day 18 and was booted a week later on day 25.
She was photographed partying with Hollywood celebrities Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire in Ibiza this summer, walking to a nightclub with the star-studded entourage.
She divorced fellow Love Island graduate Wes Nelson in 2020 following a nine-month relationship in which the reality stars lived together in London.
