Olivia Hawkins may have returned to the Love Island villa with a new boyfriend in her arms, but her attack of Kai Fagan has earned her criticism from fans.
Casa Amor was demolished on Thursday night, and it was time for the recoupling, which many did not disappoint.
While Kai, 24, said that deciding to marry Sanam Harrinanan, also 24, was a “very difficult decision,” the instructor expressed optimism that Olivia, 27, had formed a connection in the days they were apart.
Despite the fact that she returned with Maxwell Samuda, 23, Olivia instantly let loose.
‘It’s very telling, and I can’t say I’m shocked,’ she said when asked by host Maya Jama about him recoupling.
‘Missing me already? Clearly not enough,’ she added.
‘After a couple of days apart I could tell what is genuine and what isn’t…and I think I’ve got a real genuine now,’ Kai retorted.

Olivia didn’t waste any time jumping in and telling Kai that everything he’d told her was a lie.
People watching at home weren’t having it and called her out on her double standards.
‘Why is Olivia being like that? She literally recoupled too,’ one person pointed out on Twitter.
Another person claimed she was making ‘cheeky remarks’ while carrying another man on her arm.
‘Olivia you walk in with someone else then act shocked he done the same???,’ another fan added.

Although Kai had previously stated that he was’very glad’ to have discovered a ‘real connection,’ he added that he hoped Olivia had also met someone.
Olivia, on the other hand, took aim when given another chance to speak.
‘I had a connection in Casa I couldn’t ignore,’ she said.
Then she continued: ‘Max treated me right and he is a lovely boy, and we get on well and have a lot in common. The Casa boys definitely showed me what I was missing, and I am glad I recoupled.’

But things became heated when Sanam said she was “a little at a loss for words” about what was going on.
‘Olivia has been coupled up so I don’t feel like her speech was completely relevant,’ she added.
Olivia, not missing an opportunity to weigh in, stated that what was going on was between her and Kai, who then stated that he wished to prevent additional conflict.
‘I am happy and you are happy so we don’t have to become bitter,’ he said.
The term bitter clearly irritated Olivia, who bit back, but Maya was taken aback and moved in to alleviate the situation.
‘OK, let’s figure this out and we’ll discuss afterwards,’ she replied.
Olivia became tense after forgetting her ex-name boyfriend’s just minutes after coming into Casa Amor last week.
When asked who she was meeting in the villa, she forgot Kai’s name, which clearly made everyone else laugh.
Love Island continues night at 9pm on ITV2.
