If you don’t want ITVX to go down, it’s probably during Love Island.
Unfortunately, the app and desktop site was down during the ITV dating programme, so many people missed out on the drama of Casa Amor.
Viewers were confronted with a simple black screen while trying to access the streaming site, while some stated the feed was ‘glitching’.
To their chagrin, several people received an error message claiming that the show “wasn’t accessible” for them to view.
‘Someone tell me what’s happened on love island so far cos itvx is trash and I’ve missed tonight’s episode so far’, one viewer ranted on Twitter.
‘ITVX has flopped Love Island for me this year’, another accused.

Others labelled it a ‘hugely disappointing platform’, while one labelled it a ‘joke’.
One individual tweeted: ‘@ITVX never works. Always buffers. Always goes off, always problems! Just a joke’.
‘ITVX is breaking me’, penned another despondent viewer.
This isn’t the first time that technical issues have caused the 2023 Winter Love Island to be cancelled.
In fact, spectators threatened to switch off the show in the first episode owing to a glitching app.
The ITVX app and TV channel appeared to get overloaded as the first show saw 10 Islanders engage into partnerships, with a few thefts along the way.
As a result, viewers lost out on beautiful moments and were left irritated, wondering why they paid their TV licence.
Others pointed out that the glitching only seemed to occur mid-episode, rather than during the ad breaks, which fans would have welcomed.
There’s no disputing that there’s a lot to be missed right now, with heads turning left, right, and centre as Casa Amor gets began.
No relationship appears to be safe, from farmer Will Young demonstrating he isn’t as faithful to Jessie Wynter as she imagined, to Olivia Hawkins forgetting Kai Fagan’s name just minutes after meeting the new batch of males.
Love Island continues each night at 9pm on ITV2.
