Love Island winners Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Culculoglu surprised fans with an Instagram live as they returned to social media – and you’ll be pleased to know they’re just as smitten as ever.
The fiery couple won this year’s Love Island – and the £50,000 prize money – beating runners-up Gemma Owen and Luca Bish.
Davide and Ekin-Su, both 27, managed to gradually win over the nation’s hearts over the course of eight weeks, with viewers growing to love their tumultuous romance, which included many break-ups and make-ups.
After taking some time to get used to being back in the outside world and getting their phones back, the Italian Stallion and Turkish Delight hopped on an impromptu Instagram Live on Tuesday to greet their adoring followers for the first time.
‘Guys, I was crying when I opened my phone… We’re lost for words,’ Davide told viewers.
Ekin-Su then revealed: ‘We’ve just got our phones back so it’s very surreal. I will be coming back tomorrow.’

The pair are spending their final night in Majorca in what looks to be another gorgeous villa, before flying back to the UK and starting their new life together.
When one follower asked if she would be moving in with Davide, the soap opera actress replied coyly: ‘Who knows.’
In a sentimental moment, she said: ‘Thank you so much. I mean this, I love every single person who has been supporting me through this journey. Supporting me and Davide, you guys mean a lot. If there’s any love I can give right now, it’s to all of you.
Followers were also able to catch the moment Ekin-Su was introduced to one of Davide’s best friends, who was on FaceTime with the businessman.

‘Thank you for supporting me, thank you for believing in us.’
Hours before their Instagram return, it was revealed that Ekin-Su and Davide won this year’s series by a landslide having received 63.69% of the vote.
By comparison, runners-up Gemma Owen and Luca Bish landed 14.47% of the final vote, while Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope, who came third, received 11.77% of the vote.
Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page, who finished in fourth position, received 10.07%. of the vote.
Ekin-Su and Davide have much to look forward when they touch down on UK soil but they may not be hanging around for long, as the Italian entrepreneur told Love Island host Laura Whitmore that he’ll be bringing Ekin-Su to his native country to meet the rest of his family.
Love Island is available to watch on ITV Hub.
