Maya Jama gently strolled into the Love Island mansion to deliver a big surprise never seen before on the programme.
On Monday night, a teaser proved that ITV is getting its money’s worth by sending Maya into the villa with big news only two weeks into the new series.
The islanders were eating their breakfast in their pairs when Maya dropped the bombshell.
‘Hi my lovelies,’ she told the islanders, like butter wouldn’t melt.
‘This is a bit of a surprise isn’t it? Stay where you are, this won’t take long. I hope you’re enjoying your cute brunch and time together…
‘Well, as you know, finding your perfect match isn’t always easy. You guys are all living together, spending every moment together. You all have a front row seat into everyone’s relationship. You see first-hand how it all goes down.
‘In your couples you now have a very big decision to make.
I want you to decide which two couples are the least compatible and tonight I’ll be back to find out who you all have chosen.
This won’t be easy, so I’ll leave you to it and I will see you later…’
As of yet, few islanders have declared they’re closed, but Mitchel and Leah are in a friendship relationship, which spells terrible news for both of them.
However, Jess and Sammy are also in trouble, but who will be booted from the villa?
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
