Taiya, the star of My Mum, Your Dad, has given birth to her first child – congratulations!
The new reality star, who nominated her mother Monique Payneeandy for the ITV show, kept fans informed on the upcoming birth.
The 21-year-old posted two brief videos of her kid, called Alora. The adoring mother taped Alora’s gorgeous small limbs alongside a heartfelt message to the infant in the clips.
‘To my Alora, I love you in a way I didn’t think existed until I held you in my arms. You are more than I could have ever imagined,’ it began.
‘You make me feel so whole & fill my heart with so much love & happiness…I promise to be everything you need & more.’
She concluded with details of exactly when they came into the world: ’04•08•23 at 20:07 6.1lbs’.
She also revealed more about the lovely significance of the name on Instagram stories.
‘Alora is from the Bantu language of Botswana and in African culture symbolises ‘My dream,’ the screenshot read. The name, which has a Latin origin, can also mean ‘my beautiful dream’ or ‘dreamer’.
Taiya’s proud partner commented: ‘My girls’.
My Mum, Your Dad concludes today with the last episode following a roller coaster trip for Taiya and her mother, Monique.
Monique had no connection to anyone at the retreat at first, but everything changed when Martin H came. The couple had a wonderful date, but Martin M threw a spanner in the works when he crashed a dinner party.
It rapidly became a battle of the Martins, but Monique, 50, thought she had a greater relationship with Martin number two and ended things with Martin number one.
Martin H’s daughter, Jess, who had been witnessing the parents’ antics with the other children in a secret bunker, burst into tears. She stated that seeing her father rejected was difficult since he had experienced heartache in the past.
Student Taiya shared why she decided to help her therapist mum find love by nominating her to take part in the series: ‘My mum put everything aside to raise me and my sister. It’s her time. I tell her not to be so fussy, it’s not realistic’.
My Mum, Your Dad finale airs tonight 10pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
