Ethan Suplee of My Name Is Earl showed off his incredible 294-pound weight reduction after overhauling his health and exercise regimen.
The 46-year-old actor, renowned for his ‘large and bumbling’ on-screen image as Randy Hickey, has begun hitting the gym after a preoccupation with hidden eating and drastic dieting caused him to weigh over 500 pounds by the age of 24.
Ethan published a flashback photo of himself from 2001 and a recent photo of his muscular physique on Instagram to give followers a glimpse into his present thinking.
‘Once upon a time, the whole world was an impossibility. Conquering all of it is still impossible, so I’m just concentrating on today,’ he penned.
‘If today becomes too much, I will focus on right now. Right now, I’m ok, I will beat right now.’
Fans flooded the actor’s post with praise with many hailing him an ‘inspiration.’

One person wrote: ‘I remember watching you as a kid, worried you weren’t going to live long. Fast forward to present and you are vital and healthy. You took control of your story and I’m proud of you.’
‘Always loved you as an actor since day one! Happy to see your fitness journey and career as they both continue to progress. Looking forward to seeing more roles and content from you in the future,’ another added.
Ethan, who has also been in American History X, Santa Clarita Diet, and The Hunt, has worked hard over the years to feel more at comfortable with his physique, and now that he has, he hopes to keep it up.

‘I’m trying now to learn to live in, and be happy with, the maintenance period…’ he previously said. ‘I spent decades adjusting to periods of suffering through dieting.
‘It worked. I’d get to my goal—and then very rapidly undo my goal.’
‘The way more important level for me now isn’t the period where I’m suffering, but the period where I’m in love with my life,’ he declared.
My Name Is Earl, a US comedy that aired from 2004 to 2009, was cancelled after four seasons.
