Netflix subscribers have been left empty-handed after devouring the new adolescent drama My Life with the Walter Boys in a single sitting.
Following the devastating death of her own family in a horrific tragedy, 15-year-old New Yorker Jackie Howard (Nikki Rodriguez) must learn to adapt to a new life in rural Colorado with her guardian and her ten children.
Viewers have been flocking to the worldwide streaming site to watch the 10-parter with Alex, on X, formerly known as Twitter, claiming that it made their ‘dead cold heart feel something’ after getting overcome with emotion.
They asserted: ‘I need 14 seasons of My Life with the Walter Boys and I’m so serious, idgaf if people think it’s corny or too trope-y. it made my cold dead heart feel something and that is all that matters, period.
Echoing Alex’s sentiment, Primrozaa lamented after bingeing season one: ‘I finished My Life with the Walter Boys in one day, I don’t know what to do with my life anymore.’
Another viewer, Julie also raved: ‘Watching My Life with the Walter Boys and I’m having the time of my life ngl.’
For the uninitiated, My Life with the Walter Boys’ synopsis reads: ‘After the loss of her family, Jackie leaves behind her privileged and proper life in New York and moves to rural Colorado to be with her guardian – her mother’s best friend, Katherine (Sarah Rafferty), who is raising ten kids with her husband, George (Marc Blucas).
‘While settling into her new, chaotic countryside home, Jackie is determined to stay focused on her dream of getting into Princeton all while wrapping her head around her feelings for two very different Walter brothers: the reliable and bookish Alex (Ashby Gentry), and the mysterious and troubled Cole (Noah LaLonde).
‘As Jackie tries to navigate her new life, the feelings and tensions she tries to deny threaten to throw everything off course. Will she be able to stay true to herself and still find romance?’

My Life with the Walter Boys, which premiered this month, might dethrone Netflix’s most-watched show.
From January to June of this year, The Night Agent received the most viewers (812 million).
Without giving too much away for those of you who aren’t among the 812 million, the series follows FBI Agent Peter Sutherland [Gabriel Basso], who becomes involved in a big conspiracy involving a mole in the United States government.
He must uncover the traitor while also defending former tech CEO Rose Larkin [Luciane Buchanan] from the terrible guys who murdered her family members in order to preserve the nation.
Other popular Netflix dramas in 2023 include the latest installment of You, the dark comedy Beef, and the mind-bending Kaleidoscope.
My Life with the Walter Boys is available to stream on Netflix.
