A star of one of Netflix’s most popular reality shows has reportedly left the show, according to a recent social media post.
The seventh season of the real estate-focused reality programme Selling Sunset arrived on Netflix last month, bringing with it more luxury residences, avant-garde fashion, and excessive drama.
Stars including Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, and Amanza Smith returned to the show, as did newcomers like Chelsea Lazkani and Bre Tiesi.
Heather Rae El Moussa, who has been a part of the production since season one, paid tribute to one of her fellow cast members with a meaningful statement about their friendship in a recent Instagram post.
Sharing a picture of herself with Bre, she wrote in her caption: ‘The yin to my yang 🤍🖤
‘Opposite in almost every way but became besties immediately- and even though we’re not on the same show together anymore, our friendship is stronger than ever ❤️🔥.’
The mention of not being ‘on the same show together anymore’ immediately sent fans into a spiral, with some speculating that Bre had left, and others deducing that it was actually Heather who had quit.
Bre, who has a one-year-old son Legendary with TV star Nick Cannon, threatened to depart The Oppenheim Group real estate company at the end of the seventh season because she was unhappy with the commission cut that agents at the firm received.
So in response to Heather’s new Instagram post, one fan questioned: ‘So Bre actually left the show?’
‘Love you girls!!! Can’t believe Bre actually left, I’ll miss her,’ another wrote, while someone else commented: ‘Not on the same show? Did I miss something?’
Others, however, pointed out that it was Heather who had left Selling Sunset, adding to the confusion in the comments area.
Some have pointed out that the 36-year-old is on a separate reality programme, The Flipping El Moussas, with her real estate investor husband Tarek El Moussa.
Heather had already seemed to confirm that her tenure on Selling Sunset was coming to an end.
The reality star made an early appearance in season seven before giving birth to her son Tristan, after which she was absent from the remaining episodes.
In an Instagram caption, she penned: ‘It’s bittersweet to not be a part of SS anymore. But I do know that good or bad I wouldn’t change the experiences I had. Let the drama begin 😳 I’ll be no part of it ✌🏻 Thank you -> next 🙏🏻.’
Selling Sunset is available to watch on Netflix.
