The Traitors season 2 premiere date is almost approaching… We’ve got our first peek at its comeback.
When it first aired on BBC One last year, the series was an instant success.
Claudia Winkleman outdid herself as host, upping the drama and serving in enviable style when she welcomed 22 strangers to a castle in Scotland.
The game took unforeseen twists and turns as the Faithfuls sought out the Traitors among them, often to their own detriment.
Viewers were on the edge of their seats as Traitor Wilf was discovered in the closing minutes of the grand finale, which meant he didn’t win the £100,000 prize.
After being blown away by the Australian version of the show, fans have been waiting for any word of the UK show’s second season – and it’s coming just a few days into the New Year.

The new season will premiere on BBC One on Wednesday, January 3, with the first episode showing at 9 p.m.
If viewers can’t wait to see further episodes, they’ll be delighted to learn that the first three episodes will be available to watch immediately on BBC iPlayer.
The 22 new contestants who take part, the names of whom have yet to be revealed, might earn an amazing £120,000.
The Traitors is set to return on Wednesday January 3 o BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
