Ollie Locke and his spouse Gareth Locke have revealed details of the birth of their twin babies, disclosing that the kids were in intensive care for several weeks.
On August 20, the couple, who previously starred on Made in Chelsea, announced the birth of their son Apollo and daughter Cosima via surrogate Rebecca ‘Bex’ Ward.
The reality stars recently created Our Daddy Diaries, a YouTube channel where they keep their followers up to speed on every stage of their parenting adventure.
In a new video released on Instagram, they disclosed that while people assumed their children had only recently been born, they were really born six weeks earlier and had to be cared for in neonatal critical care during what they characterised as a “scary time.”
‘We’ve got a little bit of a confession, and we did promise that we’d share absolutely everything with you – however, we have been keeping a bit of a secret,’ said Ollie, 36.
‘The babies were actually born six weeks ago. It has been a scary time. They have been in neonatal intensive care for quite a long time. They’re all perfect and really doing well and now they’re home.’

Gareth then jumped in, explaining that they didn’t want the public to know about their babies’ birth until they were brought home.
‘It was something that we just didn’t want to share until we had them safe back home with us and all part of the family,’ he said.
Ollie continued: ‘Now we’re all home and happy and stuff like that, we’re going to make sure that there’ll be an episode all about this super, super soon.’
During the video, the couple discussed how they learned to change diapers and how they introduced their children to their beloved dogs.

Bex also shared the kids’ arrival on Instagram, expressing her joy at finally being able to announce that she had given birth to them.
Sharing a photo of her holding the twins, she wrote in her caption: ‘I’m so proud to be able to announce that I made a dream come true for 2 amazing daddies @ollielockeworld @garethplocke.’
