RuPaul’s Drag Race UK has been back on our screens for two weeks, and while only ten contenders were presented to viewers, some fans believe there was a hidden 11th queen.
The famous BBC programme, which pushes drag queens to a range of challenges, has already given us some legendary moments, such as DeDelicious losing her wig while performing at ‘nightclub’ Tickety Boo, and Vicki Vivacious serving military duty to gain the coveted first RuPeter badge.
While the 10 queens have been providing us with lots of lewks and humour, some viewers have been sidetracked.
Fans have seen what they believe to be an additional person in the background of many images.
There appear to be 11 pairs of legs but only 10 heads in one image. The ‘extra queen’ is standing between Banksie and Miss Naomi Carter, wearing red boots.
‘It’s annoying me that all I’m doing is trying to catch any glimpses of the edited out queen instead of paying attention to the episode properly #DragRaceUK.’
Alongside a screengrab, they added: ’11 pairs of legs. Red thigh high boots’.
Many fans have found themselves playing detective throughout the course of the series, and have shared mysterious wigs and a ‘phantom shoe’.

‘Squinting at the TV, trying to spot a toe or an elbow of the disqualified queen #DragRaceUK,’ remarked one person.
Some viewers even praised the editing team for their supposed work eliminating a queen: ‘SHE was nowhere to be seen.. THE EDITORS NEED a PAY RAISE!’

Alexis Saint-Pete had to sashay away after losing the lip sync to Miss Naomi Carter in the most recent episode of the series.
The queens were challenged with producing couture ensembles in the illustrious Design Challenge, which pits their creative, sewing, and glueing abilities against the clock. Fortunately, they had some assistance in the shape of advice from Vogue UK Editor-In-Chief Edward Enninful.
Despite being the first to leave the competition, the Polish star said: ‘I am walking away as a winner already in my heart.’
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK airs every Thursday at 9pm on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.
