Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has admitted to listening to Britney Spears while riding his Peloton cycle.
On Friday’s This Morning, the Conservative Party leader joined Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary to address a series of quick-fire questions.
Mr Sunak opened his appearance by extending his sympathies to Holly Willoughby, who had been accused and identified in connection with an alleged kidnapping scheme.
He said: ‘Before we get going, I was going to say, I’m so sorry to hear about everything that’s going on with Holly.
‘I just wanted to send my best to her and her family, and to all of you.’
The conversation then turned to Mr Sunak’s recent remarks on HS2 and the new smoking ban adjustments, before Alison asked the questions we’re all asking.
She began: ‘Barbie or Oppenheimer?’
‘I prefer Oppenheimer the film, but I loved going to Barbie because we went as a family,’ he replied, admitting the Christopher Nolan film was ‘long’.
Alison then probed: ‘I’m A Celebrity or Big Brother?’
He replied: ‘I grew up on Big Brother, but actually the Netflix Beckham documentary right now, I’ve started watching that.
‘I saved it for after conference, it is absolutely brilliant, reliving my childhood.’
Alison then asked: ‘Taylor Swift or Britney Spears?’
‘Taylor Swift, unless I’m on my Peloton, my instructor there loves Britney Spears. But otherwise Taylor Swift.’
He then added that ‘of course’ he’s watching Bake Off, which sees Alison replace Matt Lucas as host.
‘In all my spare time!’ Mr Sunak added.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1.
