Sarah Michelle Geller would want to reprise her role as Sex and The City in And Just Like That, and she has a plan.
And Just Like That’s second season is presently in production, and we already know that Aidan (John Corbett) is not just back in the picture, but he’s been snogging Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) in New York City.
Needless to say, we are overjoyed.
So, if Aidan can return to Sex and The City, why can’t Debbie, the overly eager and rather unpleasant junior development executive?
Debbie appeared in season three of Sex and the City when Carrie travelled to Los Angeles because one of her articles had been optioned for a film.
Debbie couldn’t hide her excitement when she stated Matthew McConaughey was really interested in playing Mr Big.

It’s been 20 years since Sarah first appeared in the Sex and the City world, and now that she’s triumphantly returned to acting, she’s more than willing to return to Debbie.
When asked about her appearance, the scream queen stated that schedule conflicts prevented her from performing in her ideal show alongside Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon.
‘I was desperate to be on it and [creator] Darren [Starr] had written me a couple roles and I couldn’t get out of Buffy to film and I was really upset,’ she told Entertainment Tonight.
Thankfully, the girls came to her in LA, but she still had to run from battling vampires all day on the set of Buffy at 10pm to film Sex and The City till 5am – after starting the day before at 5am.
‘I was delirious doing that scene, but I was also deliriously excited,’ she said.
‘I feel like the [development] girl, which is what she was then, is probably heading a studio and maybe she has a place to come back,’ she concluded.
‘Michael Patrick King, are you listening?’
But, really, are you?
And Just Like That is expected to return to Sky Comedy and NOW in 2023.
