The girls returned from Casa Amor tonight – and the explosive reunion with all the islanders gathered around the fire pit did not disappoint.
The highly-anticipated re-couplings saw the truth come out, hearts broken, and savage statements made.
Meanwhile, some couples warmed viewers’ hearts after staying true to each other, while others ended in explosive rows.
Andrew Le Page brands Tasha Ghouri ‘fake’ and claims ‘she tells more lies than Pinocchio’
Andrew Le Page delivered one of the most intense lines on this evening’s Love Island, after both he and Tasha Ghouri chose to recouple with Casa Amor bombshells.
The pair had been together since the start of Love Island, but Casa Amor worked its magic and in tonight’s explosive reunion, both Tasha and Andrew chose to recouple.
Andrew, choosing to couple up with Coco Lodge, began: ‘I’m very thankful for the Casa Amor girls coming and telling me exactly what she’s been saying behind my back.
‘My feelings weren’t fake. I was falling for the girl but I’m glad the truth has come out.’
When Tasha walked into the villa with Billy Brown, Andrew continued: ‘F***ing joke. She’s fake.
‘She tells more lies than Pinocchio.’
Viewers couldn’t tear their eyes away from the drama, especially after Andrew delivered the savage line.
Later on, Andrew and Tasha tried to talk things through, but it only ended in an even more explosive row.
Andrew began by explaining how his ‘head was probably not going to be turned’ before the Casa Amor girls told him ‘to open his eyes’ about what Tasha had supposedly said behind his back.
He then went on to say he felt like a ‘mug’, before Tasha jumped in to defend herself.
‘Those girls don’t know s*** Andrew! They don’t see day in day out,’ she slammed back, going on to say she ‘felt more me’ as time went on in Casa Amor, which lead her to getting to know Billy.
‘I felt like I owed it to myself to explore it with Billy,’ she said.
The pair then managed to end it amicably with a cuddle, after Andrew said how hurt he was, but admitted he still ‘thinks the world’ of Tasha.
Will they continue to get to know the new bombshells or will their flame reignite despite the explosive row?
Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack go head to head as they both recouple: ‘May the best heartbreaker win’
Elsewhere in tonight’s episode, things heated up between Dami and Indiyah Polack, as they both chose to recouple.
The brutal recoupling on Thursday saw Dami recouple with Summer Botwe, before Indiyah walked back in with Deji Adeniyi – and you could cut the tension with a knife.
After declaring that he and Indiyah ‘still have a connection, Dami went on to say: ‘Summer’s not over’, leaving islanders Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Danica Taylor horrified.
Indiyah said: ‘I had a great time in Casa, I felt like I need to follow my head and I’m glad I did.’
She added: ‘Everything happens for a reason.’
As things got even more tense, Dami insisted: ‘We’re heartbreakers’, with Indiyah dropping the immediately iconic line: ‘May the best heartbreaker win.’
Luca Bish and Gemma Owen reunite in heart-warming scenes
One couple who did manage to stay true to each other throughout Casa Amor were Luca Bish and Gemma Owen.
Upon reuniting, Luca admitted to Laura: ‘It’s been s*** without her,’ as Gemma walked in with a grin on her face.
He added that he missed ‘having her around, as soon as she walks out the door I miss her,’ saying that he does trust her.
‘I think the smile says it all,’ he added, while she said: ‘Thank God for that,’ grinning that Luca hadn’t chosen to recouple.
Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu remain strong after couple survive Casa Amor – despite Ekin’s heartbreak after Davide plays away
Another couple who survived Casa Amor were Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, who shared a sweet kiss as they reunited around the fire pit.
However, it wasn’t all plain sailing in the recoupling, after Davide’s head was turned momentarily when he kissed new girl Mollie and shared a bed with her.
Mollie dropped the chaos grenade shortly before exiting the villa, since Davide did not choose to switch to be with her, leaving her single.
Naturally, Ekin-Su was fuming, remarking that she felt like she was ‘having a heart attack’ upon hearing the news, visibly shaking with frustration and upset.
After pulling Davide to one site to confront him later on, he explained that he wanted to be ‘tested’ and still believes that their connection is genuine.
But, something tells us Ekin-Su won’t be letting this go so quickly, especially as she told Davide that she was wearing an orange dress because she felt like a ‘fire pepper.’
Jacques O’Neill’s Casa Amor behaviour exposed to Paige Thorne by Cheyanne Kerr leaving them on the rocks
Perhaps the most highly-anticipated recoupling of tonight was between Jacques O’Neill and Paige Thorne, as viewers were waiting to see if he would remain faithful to Paige or choose Cheyanne Kerr.
In a moment reflective of last season’s Millie Court-Liam Reardon-Lillie Haynes triangle, Jacques chose to stay with Paige but Cheyenne soon spilt the truth.
When it came to the recoupling, he said he’d been through a ‘test’ that had ‘made up his mind’ and he decided to stick with Paige.
She also came back single from Casa Amor single after staying loyal throughout – but her happiness quickly turned to confusion when Cheyanne spilled what happened between the pair of them.
‘I felt like I had a connection with someone. I suppose my version of a test is different to someone else’s,’ Cheyanne said. When asked who she had a connection with, she responded Jacques.
‘He said he can’t trust himself, shared a bed,’ she continued, explaining Jacques’ behaviour in Casa Amor.
Asked by Laura if she thought she would be standing up rather than sat with him, Cheyanne said: ‘I weren’t sure but I know Paige is a nice girl, hope he treats her nice.’
Paige said: ‘It’s not really what you wanna hear when you come back. It’s just one of those things. I don’t think it’s quite sunk in yet.’
Later in the episode, Paige scolded Jacques for ‘huffing and puffing’ after she asked if he thought there was something missing with her for him to test their relationship with another girl.
She said: ‘Be respectful. You can still get to know people without being full-on and kissing people, I wouldn’t never do that to somebody I genuinely cared for or had any feelings for.
‘Do you not think I look an absolute idiot now if we carry on whatever we thought we had. Do you think I deserve that. I don’t get why you’re the one being hostile.’
Jacques said: ‘At the end of the day we’re both single and I think you forget that sometimes.’
Storming off, Paige added: ‘I’m done.’
Paige breaks down in tears but is supported by the OG girls while a divide forms between them and the Casa Amor bombshells
After her chat with Jacques, Paige broke down into tears, telling the other girls: ‘I look like the biggest idiot in the entire world right now.’
While the original Islanders rallied around to support her, throughout the night it was clear a divide had formed between the original girls and the Casa Amor bombshells.
From Gemma branding them ‘b*****s’ as she whispered to Ekin-Su around the fire pit, to Tasha slamming the new girls for what they’d been telling Andrew, who knows if the girls will all band together tomorrow…
With two couples happily together again, two broken apart with recouplings, Jacques and Paige on the rocks, and Danica Taylor and Jay Younger getting to know their new bombshells, tomorrow’s episode is looking to be just as dramatic.
In the teaser clip for the next episode, Dami and Indiyah share an intense conversation whilst both Jaques and Paige shed tears, but will the two pairings work their way through the recoupling?
Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
