Olivia Hawkins’ appearance on Love Island was not her first on ITV, as fans saw her in Buffering.
The 27-year-old is presently looking for true love in the South African villa and has already ruffled a few feathers, having previously been involved in a love triangle with Tom Clare and Zara Lackenby-Brown.
While she has moved on, enjoying a hot kiss on the terrace with current boyfriend Kai Fagan, the Brighton native is no stranger to controversy and works as an extra.
In a blink-and-you-miss-it moment, the actress appeared in Bond film No Time To Die, and she has also worked as a body double for stars Emma Watson and Michelle Keegan on numerous films.
However, her appearance as an extra in Buffering, in a season 2 episode 2 named The Ick, attracted the curiosity of Love Island viewers, given the sitcom is hosted by the show’s very own narrator, Iain Stirling.
Olivia is seen drinking at a pub in the programme, when Iain’s character (also known as Iain) goes speed dating with his friends, including Rosie (Jessi eCave) and Olivia (Elena Saurel).

Fans went to Twitter this week as the show was rerun – just after Love Island, of course – to express their surprise at seeing Olivia pop up.
‘Watched an episode of Buffering last night which stars Ian Stirling, and who should I see as an extra? Olivia!,’ one remarked.
Another shocked viewer wrote simply: ‘OH MY GOD Olivia is in Buffering.’

Buffering follows the lives of kids’ TV presenter Iain and his housemates as they try to navigate the turbulent waters of their late twenties, with every wrong decision, failed relationship, and wasted hungover day exacerbating the sense that time is running out for them to get their ‘adult’ lives in order.
Laura Whitmore, the comedian’s wife and former Love Island star, appears as a demanding television executive in the second season, alongside Emily Atack and Taskmaster’s Sophie Duker.
‘It’s odd, while she is my wife, there’s this no-brainer where you’ve got someone highly recognised by the ITV public and is also playing in a West End play [2:22 A Ghost Story],’ Iain commented at the time.
‘Obviously you’d try and get that person. Do you know what I mean? You’d be mad not to.
‘There were little bits written in for my own personal amusement, I still laugh every time I see it.
‘There’s a bit where she’s physically repulsed by me. I just find it so funny that it’s just her going, “Oh, he’s vile”, and I’m like, “I’ve definitely seen that face before!”’
Buffering is available to stream on ITVX while Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
