Stranger Things actor Maya Hawke recalls being in deep water with her father, Ethan Hawke.
The Robin Buckley actress, 24, spoke on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live with Breaking Bad superstar Bryan Cranston and revealed her most embarrassing moment with Moonlight actor and mother Uma Thurman.
‘I said I was going to therapy and I really went to lose my virginity,’ Maya revealed
The actress, who is now starring in Wes Anderson’s new film Asteroid City, subsequently stated that the discovery upset Ethan.
‘I can’t believe I just said that,’ she added.
‘My father was very, very upset. He went, “Where were you? Where did you go?’ And I said, “How am I supposed to have secrets if I can’t tell lies?”‘
Stranger Things viewers are eager to see what the fifth and final season has in store for them… But they’ll have to wait a bit, with the last installment slated to be aired on Netflix in 2024.
The season four finale ended on a massive cliffhanger, with the demon Vecna effectively ripping a hole in the Indiana town of Hawkins and exposing it to the Upside Down.
While it looked that the villain – formerly known as Number One or Henry Creel – had been destroyed, Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) sensed that he was still alive, posing a new threat to Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and the rest of the group ahead of the ultimate encounter.
When asked about the Stranger Things finale, actor Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair) responded, “I’m not telling you.” No, I don’t have all the answers yet.
He continued to Collider: ‘I have an idea of what’s gonna happen, but I can’t wait to hear more about it, once this writers’ strike is over.’
Stranger Things is available to stream on Netflix.
