Dianne Buswell of Strictly Come Dancing has revealed the kind present given to her by Bobby Brazier’s father.
The Australian professional dancer, who initially appeared on the BBC dancing series in 2017, was matched up with EastEnders star Bobby, 20, for this season.
Since meeting, the couple has become exceedingly close, with Bobby recently proclaiming that he ‘loved’ Dianne and her calling him her ‘rock’ a few weeks ago.
The dance couples have also received encouragement from their friends and family as they strive to reach the finals of the dancing series.
Jeff Brazier has been bringing off food to aid the couple during their tough training routine after being witnessed tearing up during one of the early weeks of the competition while seeing his son perform.
This week Dianne uploaded a photo of one of the meals he had prepared for them, tagging him and saying that it had been ‘wonderful’.
Bobby, on the other hand, seemed to be less appreciative of the gestures after blasting his father over his food this week.
Bobby said on Strictly: It Takes Two following Halloween weekend that Jeff was ‘nowhere near as charming and kind’ as Dianne’s father, who is supporting her back home in Australia.
‘He makes you a packed lunch every day! What’s on the menu?’, Fleur quizzed.
‘That’s right,’ Bobby replied. ‘To be honest, today, I didn’t really like it.’
‘Bar today, the standard was very high. Today was some kind of pumpkin-type pasta.’
‘See! He’s going with the theme of the month,’ argued Fleur and Dianne.
‘It might have been butternut squash,’ Bobby clarified.
Jeff previously stated why he was going to the trouble of making the couple a packed lunch during his appearance on This Morning.
‘He’s burning about a million calories every day, so I just feel what I can do to help him and Dianne, is to make sure they go in with a big Tupperware container full of stuff that’s going to fuel them,’ he said.
Bobby may have to be careful not to become too sarcastic after revealing that his father has raised his board due to his achievement over the last year.
Bobby said on the red carpet at the Pride of Britain Awards that Jeff had raised his rent.
‘He’s been cooking us lunch recently, in big portions,’ he told OK! Magazine.
‘But on the other side of that, he’s just upped my rent, so it’s sweet and sour!’
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 7.05pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
