Teddy Soares, a Love Island star, reportedly confided in his SAS: Who Dares Wins co-stars about his relationship problems with Faye Winter.
While the roster for the harsh reality show’s future celebrity series has yet to be finalised, Teddy is expected to be joined by fellow Love Island star Montana Brown and former health secretary Matt Hancock.
Teddy, 29, and Faye, 27, met on the ITV dating show in 2021 and found fame and love.
While the couple has had their fair share of turmoil, they have remained together, but rumours of their breakup have lately surfaced.
Teddy, according to rumours, addressed their relationship troubles when filming SAS months ago.
A source said: ‘The SAS cast were quite surprised during filming as Teddy really opened up about how things between him and Faye weren’t good and he was going to end things when he got back from shooting the show.’
The insider continued to The Sun: ‘None of this will be shown on screen but he certainly made no secret of the fact that their days were numbered.
‘No one in the cast was surprised, therefore, when the pair confirmed their split as they knew it had been coming for months and, if anything, were expecting it three months ago.’
The pair has yet to respond to rumours of their breakup.
Teddy mentioned looking for a house with Faye and teased looking at proposal rings shortly after leaving the Love Island villa in 2021.
‘It’s been a long time coming,’ he added. More than anything, we struggled to locate a house that felt like a ‘home’ rather than just a somewhere to stay.
‘There’s a lot of lovely places, but this place just feels warm every time we step through the doors. Even though it’s pretty much empty, the fact that we’re both in it, it feels like home.’
‘[It] is excellent for what we have, and obviously what I have, planned in mind for the future as well, hint hint!’ he said of the property they picked.
When asked whether it meant filling it with small Fayes or Teddys, he grinned and said, ‘Potentially!’ Not too rapidly, mind you, but it’s simply right.’
