Following the release of the trailer for the new adventure, it appears that Baby Yoda is learning to control the force in season 3 of The Mandalorian.
After the final season of the iconic Star Wars spin-off series aired in 2020, fans have had a long wait to learn what happens next.
While the second season of The Book of Boba Fett ended with Luke Skywalker arriving to take Grogu away to train as a Jedi, he was finally reunited with The Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) in the third season.
Now that father and son are reunited, they are on their way to Din Djarin’s ancient home of Mandalore.
The new teaser, released on Monday, shows them reuniting with old friends and making new adversaries in the midst of high-octane spaceship fights.
It begins with a voice-over of The Mandalorian saying: ‘Our people are scattered like stars in the galaxy.’

‘What are we? What do we stand for?’ he adds.
‘Being a Mandalorian’s not just learning about how to fight. You also have to know how to navigate the galaxy. That way, you’ll never be lost.’
Seeking redemption for past transgressions, Din Djarin returns home, however, he is warned by Captain Carson Teva: ‘There’s something dangerous happening out there, and by the time it becomes big enough for you to act, it will be too late.’

While we’ve seen other Mandalorians in previous seasons, it appears that this time there will be an army of them.
The fact that Grogu can utilise force is, without a question, the most fascinating advance.
In the trailer’s last seconds, Baby Yoda appears to be surrounded by a bounty hunter in a cave, but he manages to blast them back with his hands.
Season three will begin immediately after the other Star Wars spin-off The Book of Boba Fett, with Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon), Amy Sedaris (Peli Motto), and Carl Weathers (Greef Karga) guaranteed to return.
The Mandalorian season 3 is streaming from March 1 on Disney Plus.
