Fans of the UK edition of The Masked Singer are certain that Glee actress Amber Riley is hiding behind the Jellyfish mask, despite the fact that she only won the US version last month.
Twelve more unknown celebrities donned extravagant costumes and sang their hearts out on the fourth season premiere of the reality singing competition earlier this month.
Judges Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora, Mo Gilligan, and Davina McCall have been mostly guessing and throwing forth suggestions as to who the remaining celebrities may be, despite the fact that four have already been revealed.
However, Jonathan makes a prediction in this week’s episode that reflects the thoughts of viewers at home: that Amber is giving the show another go.
When Jellyfish performed to Tom Walker’s “Leave A Light On” on Saturday, for example, the lyrics provided a strong hint as to who was hiding behind the mask.
The aquatic creature had previously dropped hints such as how delighted she was to return and how she never wanted to “fish for a praise” but was happy to give them out.
She also added that ‘everyone deserves their day in the sunlight’.
A decision was made concerning her job that’removed her from the spotlight,’ which was another hint.
Davina said it was Alesha Dixon, while Mo speculated it may have been Leona Lewis.
But Jonathan was certain of his prediction, and social media users agreed with him.
One person wrote on Twitter: ‘Jellyfish is Amber Riley. The decision in her career was getting turned down for American Idol before she was cast in Glee.’
They added: ‘She also won Dancing with the Stars and the US version of Masked Singer.’
It would be easy for many people to make the connection between the hints and Amber.

Amber, who portrayed Mercedes Jones on Glee for six seasons (2009–2015), won the United States version of The Masked Singer in December.
Amber said after being named the winner, “This has been such a great experience simply to be able to come out here and be totally covered and let my abilities speak for themselves.”
My sincere desire to help others via my music and the feelings it evokes in them. Here on this platform, I exposed my vulnerability; I pray that it was felt by everybody.
Jellyfish has previously covered songs by Guns N’ Roses (Sweet Child o’ Mine) and Hozier (Take Me to Church) on prior episodes.
The Masked Singer airs Saturdays at 7pm on ITV.
