The Stanford Student, episode six of season three of the Apple TV Plus drama, saw Jennifer’s news reporter character Alex Levy interview Jon’s tech mogul Paul Marks.
When the Friends actress, 54, began grilling the Mad Men actor, 52, sparks flew, and the two ended up in bed together.
Fans of the newsroom drama, which also stars Reese Witherspoon and Billy Crudup, reacted quickly on X, formerly known as Twitter, to the scene.
One remarked: ‘Miss Jen Aniston! What was that scene! I need a couple of days to recover, thank you.’
Another wrote: ‘Ummm ummm, those scenes between Alex and Paul were HAWT!!!!!! Daymmmmmnnnn,’ while a third added: ‘After today’s episode I’ve come to the conclusion that seeing a romcom with Jennifer Aniston and Jon Hamm is not a want, IT’S A NEED!!’
According to the synopsis The Morning Show, which began in 2019, ‘explores the cutthroat world of morning news and the lives of the people who help America wake up in the morning.
‘Told through the lens of two complicated women working to navigate the minefield of high-octane jobs while facing crises in both their personal and professional lives, The Morning Show is an unapologetically candid drama that looks at the power dynamics between women and men, and women and women, in the workplace.’
Speaking about working on the drama, Jennifer previously told Variety: ‘We thrive and it’s quite — dare I say it — easy. It’s such a pleasant set to be on. We love to communicate. We love to work stuff out, and we don’t just shove stuff under the rug. There’s no stone left unturned in a creative decision. We all put our heads together.’

The Morning Show was renewed before the season 3 debut, indicating that there would be a season 4 – albeit the release date has not been announced.
Jennifer stole the show after stunning in a recent photoshoot and opening up about her wellness ideas.
The We’re The Millers actress shared: ‘I drink a lot of water, move my body daily, try to eat whole, fresh foods, and get as much sleep as I can.’
She added: ‘I try to be really mindful about what I let into my head- space. Our world is really going through some challenges, and I know we all care a lot, but sometimes I think it’s imperative that we turn off the noise.
