The Simpsons family has been converted into real-life humans thanks to the power of artificial intelligence, and the results are rather astounding.
Artificial intelligence has lately acquired popularity, with iconic TV series such as Friends and South Park receiving digital makeovers.
One Reddit user, @Crows_HeadIC, has even gone so far as to remake the Simpsons as modern-day characters.
The article includes various photographs of the Simpsons family as well as other characters such as Ned Flanders, Mr Burns, Patty and Selma, Apu, Smithers, Principal Skinner, Moe, Lenny, and Carl.
Marge’s makeover, however, got everyone talking, since the new Mrs Simpson had tattoos and long blue hair instead of a towering vertical bonnet.
One person said: ‘Marge is the only one that doesn’t work. Everyone else is great.’
Another wrote: ‘I struggled a lot with Marge. But why not give her a modern edge.’
However, not everyone agreed after one person replied: ‘Marge is hot AF.’
‘Very realistic I’d watch this immediately,’ a third person weighed in.
The popular cartoon series has developed a bizarre tendency of forecasting real-life events over the years.
And it recently hit gold again, after making a joke about hip hop group Cypress Hill in a 1996 episode.
Homer Simpson embarks on a musical adventure in the 27-year-old episode, named Homerpalooza and published during the seventh season of the show, after understanding that youth no longer see classic rock as a cool genre.
Homer finds up partying with various well-known musicians, including Cypress Hill, Sonic Youth, and The Smashing Pumpkins, due to a chain of circumstances.
The episode footage was published on Instagram by a Simpsons fan page, causing other fans to wonder why the collaboration hasn’t happened yet in real life.
Cypress Hill then appeared in the comments area to confirm that the wheels are in motion to make it a reality.
