Tom Sandoval, who has just been wounded, has joined the cast of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
Since it was revealed that he had an affair with his co-star Raquel Leviss, the Vanderpump Rules actor has hardly been out of the news this year.
The Scandoval drama appears to still be hanging heavily on his shoulders in the promo for the new Fox series, which premieres on September 25.
In the quick preview, the bar owner said, “I want to get punished,” while looking dishevelled and bleeding from his nose.
JoJo Siwa appeared to tumble backwards from a very high ledge hung above a mountain in other scenes, while Blac Chyna was clearly terrified of another difficult assignment.
‘People want to underestimate me. I’m a lot stronger than people think,’ Tara Reid announced amid a montage of the challenges.
They will be joined by Jack Osbourne, Brian Austin Green from Beverly Hills 90210 and Desperate Housewives, Kelly Rizzo, Tyler Cameron, Nick Viall, and Savannah Chrisley from Chrisley Knows Best.
Numerous sportsmen will also compete, including Olympic gold medalists Erin Jackson and Bodie Miller, NFL player Dez Bryant, and NBA legend Robert Horry.
Mark Billingham, Rudy Reyes, Jovon Quarles, and Jason Fox, all former special forces members, will test the actors.
The official synopsis reads: ‘FOX’s ultimate celebrity social experiment, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, returns for a second season, enlisting a troop of household names to endure some of the harshest, most grueling challenges from the playbook of the actual Special Forces selection process.
‘This time around, the recruits will be faced with the harsh reality of winter warfare training on the mountains of New Zealand where the terrain and freezing temperatures are brutal and the tasks will feel like torture.
‘They will face the ice breaker drill where they will be submerged in a frozen lake to find their body temperature plummeting to near hypothermic levels. They will attempt a treacherous ravine crossing atop a 4700ft snowcapped mountain peak as well as an emergency escape out of a helicopter submerged deep in icy waters.
‘There are no votes, and no eliminations – just survival. These celebrities, who are so used to being in the spotlight, will quickly learn the meaning of “no guts, no glory” – and no glam.
‘In this unique series, the only way for these recruits to leave is to give up on their own accord, through failure or potential injury, or by force from the DS. Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test is the ultimate test of physical, mental and emotional resilience – revealing these celebrities’ deepest and truest character. Who will quit, who will survive?’
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test premieres on Fox on September 25.
