Weasley twins James and Oliver Phelps are reconnecting with their on-screen father Mark Williams for an epic road trip, which is great news for Harry Potter lovers.
The trio hasn’t seen on screen together in 12 years, since the final film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two, but they’ll be reunited soon for season two of Fantastic Friends.
Fantastic Friends follows James and Oliver – aka Fred and George Weasley – as they embark on high-octane escapades with their celebrity friends.
Mark, who played Arthur Weasley in the series, will be there to see all of the action.
Game of Thrones’ Alfie Allen, The Sandman’s Corey Mylechreest, and The Fugitive’s Genesis Rodriguez are also on the cast list for the upcoming instalment.
This time around, the travelogue series was shot in a wide range of locations, including Australia, Florida, and Chile, as well as the Swiss Alps and Singapore.
And, of course, the exhilarating activities are as high-octane as we’d anticipate, with the duo and their guests partaking in ice climbing, ghost hunting, snowmobiling, and much more, all with a magical twist.
Oh, and if that wasn’t enough, the second season is even longer than the first, with eight episodes rather than six.
‘Filming season two has been incredible fun,’ James enthused to Deadline.
‘We’ve travelled far and wide to destinations including Australia, Singapore and Chile, taking on all sorts of adventures. We even picked up motorbike licences so we could tour through the Alps with our old friend Stan Yanevski.
‘This season we’ve filmed eight episodes, so we’ve been able to travel with old friends from the Harry Potter movies and some newer friends we’ve made along the way.’
