The fourth series of the enormously popular ITV show The Masked Singer has returned for more insanity.
Throughout the competition, judges Rita Ora, Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, and Jonathan Ross will make various assumptions about who the celebs behind the masks could be when they belt out a ditty.
The judges aren’t the only ones who make wild guesses; the biggest name mentioned so far in this series is none other than Kate Bush!
We’ve got everything from a Jellyfish singing Guns’n’Roses to a Ghost doing a famous Drifters song. Ghost went on to become the first unmasked star, revealing himself to be sporting superstar Chris Kamara.
So he’s out of the running for the show, but what exactly is he missing out on? What do the winners receive, and who has previously won it?
What does the winner of The Masked Singer get?
While The Masked Singer UK is pretty much identical to its counterpart in the States, it does differ when it comes to the prize for the winner of the competition.
In the US, the winner of the singing show receives the coveted Golden Mask Trophy – whereas in the UK there is no prize or money awarded to the winner.
Whoever comes out on top in the UK simply gets the title of winner.
Who has won The Masked Singer?
Aussie pop icon Natalie Imbruglia won the 2022 series of the show.
She left the competition Torn up (geddit?…) and belted out a triumphant rendition of One Direction’s Story of My Life to cinch the victory – and she did it all while dressed as a Panda.

Preceding Natalie was Joss Stone, who won the 2021 series of the show, performing under the guise of Sausage.

Stone took home the crown with her powerful rendition of Rise Up By Andra Day.
After winning the competition, Joss explained that it was the perfect time for her to star on the show as she had just ‘received some very exciting news’, as she appeared on the series while pregnant.
‘Also, I am always up for a laugh and this is one of the most funny and happy things someone could do with their time,’ she said.
Series one was won by Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts, who was dressed as Queen Bee.
Her final song was Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi.
The Masked Singer airs tonight on ITV at 7pm.
