Phillip Schofield has been missing from ITV’s This Morning, which he typically co-hosts with Holly Willoughby, this week.
From Monday through Friday, they co-host the show, with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary taking over on Friday.
However, Alison presented with Holly for the first two days of the week, before being replaced by The Masked Singer UK presenter and comedian Joel Dommett on Wednesday, March 29.
On Tuesday evening, Joel announced the news on social media, saying, ‘This is not a DRILL! I’ll be hosting @thismorning for the next few days with @hollywilloughby – See you in the morning.’
The comic announced on his Instagram Story that he will be on the show this week on Wednesday and Friday.
Where is Phillip Schofield as he is replaced on This Morning?
Holly addressed Phillip’s absence from This Morning earlier this week, when Alison appeared on the show on Monday.

Alison indicated at the end of Friday’s broadcast that she will be “back on Monday,” before additional information was revealed the following week.
Holly stated to fans on Monday, ‘Phillip is taking the week off, so all the adults have left the building, and Alison has arrived!’ Is it strange to be here on a Monday?’
Meanwhile, Alison, who will replace Matt Lucas as presenter of The Great British Bake Off later this year, said: ‘It’s so fantastic to be here, it’s lovely. It’s actually good to have you here at the start of the week.’

Timothy Schofield, Phillip’s younger brother, was charged with 11 charges of sexual assault on a youngster this week.
Timothy, who denies all accusations, went on trial in a crown court on Monday for three years for alleged abuse of a juvenile child in October 2016.
He allegedly committed the crimes while working for Avon and Somerset Police. On December 3, 2021, he was detained, and his home was also raided.
Mrs Justice Johanna addressed the fact that Timothy has a famous brother in court, stating: ‘The fact that he is the defendant’s brother changes nothing in this trial, the defendant will be tried in the same fair way as every other defendant.’
The trial is expected to last a week.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
