The next food show seeking to whet our appetites is Gordon Ramsay’s brand-new ITV series Next Level Chef.
The eight-part series follows 12 aspiring cooks as they prepare a variety of scrumptious dishes in what the producers call “the toughest and most epic cooking contest on TV.”
The kitchen is divided into three levels, with each location putting the participants’ culinary inventiveness, agility, flair, and competence to the test as they compete to advance to the Next Level.
Throughout the show, Gordon, 56, as well as prominent chefs Paul Ainsworth and Nyesha Arrington, will guide the cooks as they battle for a £100,000 reward.
A year of mentorship from Hell’s Kitchen’s Paul and Nyesha is also up for grabs.
But who are Nyesha Harrington and Paul Ainsworth? Everything you need to know about the Next Level Chef mentors is right here.
Who is Paul Ainsworth from Next Level Chef?

Paul got his first major break after studying hospitality and food at Southampton City College when the late Gary Rhodes gave him a job at his London restaurant.
Paul’s second job was with Gordon, where he worked for three years at his Restaurant Gordon Ramsay and afterwards at his Pétrus restaurant until being hired by Marcus Wareing.
The chef then worked in The Berkeley’s kitchen before opening his own restaurant in Padstow, Cornwall, with two pals.
However, Paul purchased the business from his friends and renamed it Paul Ainsworth at Number 6, which was awarded a Michelin star in 2013.
Paul has previously been on BBC’s Great British Menu, when he won the dessert course, and is a regular guest on Saturday Kitchen.
He was a guest cook on MasterChef lately and has been a judge on Great British Menu since 2018.
Who is Nyesha Arrington from Next Level Chef?

Nyesha, who was born in Southern California, learned to cook from her Korean grandmother when she was five years old, churning up meals like bulgogi and handmade kimchi.
Nyesha graduated from the Art Institute of California’s Culinary School in Los Angeles before honing her skills at the two-Michelin-starred Mélisse restaurant in Santa Monica.
She has also worked as a mentor for famed chef Jol Robuchon in his Michelin and Mobil award-winning Las Vegas restaurants, L’Atelier and The Mansion.
Nyesha has appeared on Top Chef and the Food Network’s series Chef Hunter, where she won the competition.
Next Level Chef premieres tonight at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
