Scared of the Dark, the latest Channel 4 series, promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats, and we can’t wait to see what happens.
The action-packed programme, hosted by actor Danny Dyer, has eight celebrities living in complete darkness for eight days while being continually recorded. The group must complete tasks in order to keep their spot on the show and win meals or goodies.
To exit ‘The Bunker’ in true I’m A Celebrity fashion, the celebs must yell, ‘I’m Scared of The Dark.’ They are now being led into the light.
On hosting the unique show, Danny, 45, said: ‘This is possibly one of the most bizarre things I’ve ever done in my career, and I have done a lot of mad things.
‘Throw in a bunch of celebs and make them do things with the lights off – it’s proper good telly.
‘You’re gonna laugh, you’re gonna laugh some more and I promise you’re gonna love it.’
Who are the contestants on Danny Dyer’s Scared of the Dark?
Football icon Paul Gascoigne will appear in the new reality show with Love Island star Chloe Burrows, Wanted singer Max George, and Olympic fighter Nicola Adams.
The show also features blind comedian Chris McCausland, actress Donna Preston, and boxer Chris Eubank, who ‘voluntarily’ withdrew from the tournament.
They had to adjust to one other’s bothersome habits while living together, in addition to overcoming the hurdles.

‘There was tiny stuff like Gazza waking up at half six in the morning doing his workouts,’ Donna added, referring to Gazza’s ‘huffing and puffing’ each morning, which led her to suspect he was’masturbating’ each morning.
‘However, we subsequently discovered that he was doing workouts when we believed he was doing something else.’
She added to The Sun: ‘Because he was huffing and puffing – we were like what the hell is going on.
‘But he wasn’t masturbating!’
Thank goodness for that!
Scared of The Dark premieres tonight at 9pm on Channel 4.
