Cheryl Hole, from Drag Race UK, is bringing her artistic abilities to the kitchen in tonight’s Celebrity MasterChef.
The 29-year-old is up against Jamelia, Wynne Evans of Go Compare, artist Locksmith, and model Sam Fox.
She’ll be demonstrating her culinary skills to impress judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode.
But who exactly is Cheryl Hole? Everything you need to know is right here…
The television personality, whose actual name is Luke Underwood-Bleach, appeared in the first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK in 2019.
She advanced to week seven of the competition, finishing fourth and losing to first-place winner The Vivienne.
Cheryl, whose act is based on the former Girls Aloud singer, later competed in the first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs. the World last year.
She has appeared on various other TV shows, including The Only Way Is Essex, Celebs on the Farm, and Celebrity Juice in 2020.
Cheryl has also appeared in the West End, where she made her stage debut in the drama Death Drop.
She married her husband Haydn in September 2021, two years after the pair appeared on Comedy Central’s Your Face Or Mine, when he informed hosts Jimmy Carr and Katherine Ryan that they initially met at a drag event.
Speaking in an interview: ‘I’m not going to lie, lots of people say “married life is so different” – for me, nothing’s changed, we’ve just got a bigger ring on our fingers.’
‘We live, breathe and work together 24/7 so when we do have the odd day apart, it’s always like “oh”, because you really take a step back and really appreciate everything you have with each other.
‘Nothing really changed, we just had a great big party and we just carry on doing what we do.’
Cheryl has already had to respond to hateful trolls ahead of her appearance on Celebrity MasterChef.
‘Sitting here chuckling at all these replies of people getting angry for me cooking a bit of food,’ she wrote, before immediately being inundated with support.
Celebrity MasterChef continues tonight at 9pm on BBC One.
