Neil Patrick Harris’s brand new LGBTQ+ Netflix drama Uncoupled is finally here in all its glory.
The eight-episode romcom follows New York estate agent Michael Lawson (played by Neil) who gets back into the dating game after his boyfriend of 17 years leaves him.
After being totally blindsided, Michael is forced to confront dating in his mid-40s.
Created and executive produced by Darren Star and Jeffrey Richman, Uncoupled boasts of a star-studded cast. So, let’s meet them!
Who is in the cast of Netflix’s Uncoupled?
Neil Patrick Harris

Neil Patrick Harris takes on the lead role of real estate broker Michael Lawson in this binge-worthy drama.
Michael is in his late 40s and really thought his relationship with Colin would last forever.
‘Now that he’s been dumped, he must confront his self-absorbed, overbearing tendencies and re-enter the dating scene,’ the synopsis teases.
Neil is perhaps best known for starring as lothario Barney Stinson in the American sitcom How I Met Your Mother.
More recently, he appeared in Russell T Davies’s Channel 4 Aids drama It’s A Sin.
Tisha Campbell

Tisha Campell portrays Michael’s real estate business partner and best friend Suzanne Prentiss.
While she’s not being a shoulder for Michael to lean on, she’s busy navigating New York City as a single mum.
For many viewers Tisha is a familiar face, having appeared in My Wife & Kids alongside Damon Wayans.
She’s also starred in the comedy film House Party, and its subsequent two sequels.
Brooks Ashmanskas

Brooks Ashmanskas takes on the role of Michael’s oldest friend, art dealer Stanley James.
He’s another single man in his late 40s and will no doubt help his bud tackle the New York City dating scene.
Tony-nominated actor Brooks has appeared in a number of stage productions over the course of his career, including Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me and The Prom.
He’s also starred in the 2019 series of Tales Of The City and played Judge Greg Brochard in The Good Wife.
Emerson Brooks

Billy Burns, played by Emerson Brooks, is a charming weatherman and somewhat of a big name in town.
Before landing his role on Uncoupled, Emerson was in the cast of Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer.
He’s also appeared in a number of other television shows, including NCIS: Los Angeles, 24, Lost and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Where can I watch Uncoupled?
Uncoupled will be available to stream on Netflix from today (July 29).
Before its debut, Neil shared that he quite rightly got the final approval of which dick pic was used in one of the episodes of the show.
‘Not only did I get approval, I was asked to choose said d***, which is harder than you think – no pun intended,’ the 49-year-old star told Page Six.
Neil also revealed that he was presented with a ‘flaccid latex phallus that was left in my dressing room,’ and asked to approve it, however, it didn’t make the cut.
Uncoupled is available to stream on Netflix.
