The newest shocking development in the controversy involving the disgraced Labour MP who faked his own death is about to air on ITV, and fans are getting ready to watch it.
The upcoming three-parter will be written by John Preston and will focus on John Stonehouse’s relationships, including his marriage to Barbara Smith, his affair with assistant Sheila Buckley, and even an alleged period of time spent spying for the Czech secret agency.
When the politician was suspected of spying, his life was turned upside down, despite the fact that he had been an important member of the government led by former Prime Minister Harold Wilson.
