The last three episodes of Harry and Meghan’s Netflix docuseries dropped today (December 15).
While the first few episodes were met with a lukewarm reception, with many on social media labelling it ‘boring’ and just four percent of viewers feeling more positive about them afterwards, the second half teases more drama – with Harry detailing a ‘screaming’ Prince William and Meghan Markle opening up on mental health issues while being a working royal.
One figure who appears throughout the episodes is Meghan’s British BFF, Lucy Fraser.
It was Lucy who talked about Meghan’s planned ‘single girl summer’ right before the Suits star met Prince Harry.
In the series, Meghan elaborated on Lucy’s comments, saying: ‘I was really intent on being single and just fun girl-time… and then came H. I mean, he literally, … talk about a plot twist.’
But who is Meghan’s pal, Lucy? Here’s what we know about the Duchess of Sussex’s British confidant…
Who is Lucy Fraser?
Lucy Fraser is a close friend to Meghan Markle, and it’s been reported that she used to work in PR, but this is unconfirmed.
Lucy was one of Meghan’s friends to attend the royal wedding in Windsor in May 2018, but was listed under her birth name, Lucy Meadmore, instead of Lucy Fraser, according to the Daily Mail.
They appear to be close friends, as Lucy revealed in the docuseries she threw a party for the newly engaged pair back in 2017.
She revealed, ‘We had a little engagement party and everyone was dressed in animal onesies. And Meg and Harry were in matching penguin onesies because penguins mate for life. And they were so sweet.’

How long have Lucy Fraser and Meghan Markle been friends?
It’s not known when or how the pair met, but Lucy, an English native, was known to be close pals with the Duchess of Sussex back in 2016.
In the first half of their Netflix doc, they talked about planning travel around Europe together during that time.
It is also believed that the former Deal or No Deal model sought out Lucy’s assistance with her former blog, The Tig.
In fact, it’s implied they were so close by 2016 that Lucy almost warned Meghan off a romance with Harry.
In the docuseries, Lucy is shown saying, ‘I remember saying to her, “When this goes public, it is not gonna be easy. The UK media are notorious for doing whatever they can to get a story… they go through rubbish bins, they’ll try and break into accounts. They will do whatever they can to get an exclusive and make money.”’
