Whoopi Goldberg gave Game of Thrones star Kit Harington a peek into her private life by showing off her Iron Throne toilet.
Harington, 36, who portrayed Jon Snow on the blockbuster fantasy series for eight seasons, appeared as a guest on The View, a US chat show hosted by Goldberg, 67.
The Westeros-inspired throne was unveiled by the Oscar-winning actress and comedian after Harington addressed his new film Baby Ruby.
During the interview, host Sara Haines momentarily halted the conversation to inform the star that she ‘had an actual Iron Throne in her dressing room.’
The screen then displayed an image of Goldberg’s so-called “Iron Throne,” before co-host Sunny Hostin added, “The seat is heated.”
Harington, being the charmer, couldn’t help but laugh and cheer when he saw Goldberg’s magnificently painted commode.
Following the display of the photograph, the Sister Act actor said that The View had been striving for some time to arrange an interview with Harington.
‘We tried for as long as Game of Thrones was on to get you to come and do The View, but we couldn’t because of filming schedules and stuff,’ she said.
‘Game of Thrones was a show, from day one, that was my favourite. And still remains. When I want to see something fun, I go there.’
Hostin asked Harington a series of quickfire questions regarding Game of Thrones and the prospective Jon Snow sequel at the end of the chat.
When asked if he would return to the part, the Gunpowder actor held his cards close to his chest and, unhappily but logically, would not reveal anything.
At a recent Game of Thrones fan gathering, the Eternals star expressed his displeasure with the slogan most associated with Jon in the show.
Character with a free spirit Ygritte’s ‘You know nothing, Jon Snow’ was a fan favourite, and it helped to explain Jon’s character’s well-intentioned stupidity.
But Harington said: ‘I don’t know what it means! It’s like, what do you mean, I know nothing? What does that mean? What are you talking about?’
