Winter Love Island 2023 has arrived, and the drama has already begun, thanks to one singleton’s popularity with the ladies.
With Maya Jama as the new host of the ITV dating show, things got heated, especially when the girls were forced to pick boys to pair up with.
Given that Kai Fagan had not one, not two, but three chicks all going heart eyes for him, viewers are already predicting conflict.
Kai was first paired with Anna-May Robey, making the new series’ second couple.
However, it wasn’t long before we saw a steal, as Olivia Hawkins was a woman who knew what she wanted and opted to couple up with Kai despite the fact that he was already taken.
Olivia wasn’t able to relax for long, though, for, in a startling turn of events, he couldn’t help but step forward and admit to having feelings for Tanyel Revan.

Tanyel was eventually chosen as Kai’s partner, and he was very satisfied with his decision.
The pandemonium of it all was not missed on fans, who are eager to see the girls ‘go to war’ and compete for his attention as the series progresses.
‘I can feel the drama already with Kai and the three other women. Whew!’, one tweeted.

‘Kai is gonna give us drama’, predicted another, with one adding: ‘Kai will be a problem and I so appreciate it.’
But, not everyone is so keen, with others already branding him a ‘player.’
‘He needs to be humbled asap’, one Twitter user wrote.
‘I can literally see Kai’s ego growing by the second’, added another.
One person even stated Kai is ‘the next Adam Collard,’ referring to the 2018 bad boy who returned to the villa in 2022 to cause trouble.
Despite being in a relationship with Tanyel, Kai is keeping his options open.
Chatting with the other boys in the bedroom at the end of the first day, he admitted: ‘I’m gonna talk to all of them.’
When the other males began to congratulate him for having three girls seemingly fall at his feet, he revealed a slightly insecure side to his nature.
‘Yeah, that’s until they start talking to me and realise how f***ing boring I am,’ he confessed.
So, will Kai remain happily married to Tanyel, or will there be more switcheroos? And do any other girls have their sights set on him?
Love Island airs each night at 9pm on ITV2.
