Dancing on Ice has returned, and what a start to the 15th season!
As the first half of the group walked to the rink, Love Island star Ekin-Su practically melted the ice with her super-sexy routine to Britney Spears‘ Toxic – not to mention her showstopping costume. Despite this, she found herself in the skate-off after the public vote.
Siva Kaneswaran of The Wanted suffered concussion after being hit in the head during rehearsals. Meanwhile, Patsy Palmer and partner Matt Evers performed an upside-down sail to Ride On Time, leaving spectators in awe of her age.
Joey Essex couldn’t stop raving about his partner Vanessa Bauer, and Olympian Nile Wilson looked like a pro skater from the start.
Now it’s time for the second half of the contestants to take the ice: RuPaul’s Drag Race UK champion The Vivienne, Mollie Gallagher from Coronation Street, Carley Stenson from Hollyoaks, comedian Darren Harriott, and football icon John Fashanu.
Here’s how to stay up to date on Dancing on Ice 2023 and what to expect…
When is Dancing on Ice on?
The next episode of Dancing on Ice 2023 will show on Sunday, January 22nd at 6.30pm.
ITV1 will broadcast the show live.
However, you will be able to watch it live or later by using the ITVX player.
Dancing on Ice debuted at the same time last year (January 16) and ended on March 27, 2022, so this year’s series could end around the same time.
What are the routines on Dancing on Ice this week?
Mollie Gallagher and Sylvain Longchambon

He says: ‘A lot of my friends who wouldn’t normally watch the show are going to, because they hope I’ll fall over!’

John Fashanu, 60, admits that ‘being 6ft 3 and trying to be Bambi on the ice is very difficult’.
He’s making his debut with pro partner and former winner Alexandra Schauman to Eat My Goal by Collapsed Lung, which hopefully won’t be a portent of what’s to come.
Carley Stenson and Mark Hanretty

What to expect from the new series: from the judges panel to running time change
The four judges from the previous year are all on the spot. Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, and Ashley Banjo have all appeared on the programme since its beginning, along with other skating icons.
Since 2018, the Diversity dancer has been a part of the programme.
Oti Mabuse, who joins in 2021, completes the judging panel.
The run time of the episodes this series is different.
A statement on social media announcing the series read: ‘This year the series is reduced to 90 minutes per episode; so rather than 6 dances in 2 hours, we’ll now have 11 dances in just an hour and a half.’

Who won Dancing on Ice 2022?
In the previous season of Dancing on Ice, Regan Gascoigne and Karina Manta won the competition.
Regan Gascoigne, the son of football legend Paul Gascoigne, struggled to contain his tears as he took the trophy and remarked, “I am so overwhelmed, I never thought it would be possible.”
Judge Jayne Torvill broke down during Regan’s initial skate, which was influenced by the circus and Torvill and Dean’s 1983 World Championships Barnum performance.
