Adam Sandler has revealed specifics about his smooch with Murder Mystery co-star Jennifer Aniston, but he has one beef with her.
The Hollywood stars will feature together in Murder Mystery 2, which was published today on Netflix.
The duo will play experienced investigators in the mystery-action picture, alongside new cast members Mark Strong, Mélanie Laurent, and Jodie Turner-Smith.
Sandler, 56, has disclosed that despite their decades-long relationship, the pair are still uncomfortable around each other when it comes to locking lips on screen, which they’ve done in all three of their films together, including 2011’s Just Go With It.
Sandler revealed to USA Today his one beef with the Friends actor, 54, when it comes to sharing a steamy moment.
The Waterboy star stated that he thought Aniston was overly enthusiastic during their kissing moment in the newest Murder Mystery film.
‘”For God’s sake, keep your mouth closed”,’ he recalled saying to her. ‘It was so wide! Every time, she’d come with a big, wide mouth, and I’d be like, “Whoa-ho-ho-ho-ho, whoa! What are we doing?”‘
From passion to action, Sandler discussed the risks of filmmaking and the unusual injuries he suffered while filming Murder Mystery 2.
‘Jennifer kicked me in the ribs one take,’ he said, as well as sharing that his co-star accidentally punched him in the face during a fight scene.
The couple recently recalled where they first encountered and how their friendship started.
Sandler remembered having breakfast with the couple during their first encounter in a Mr and Mrs style interview with Netflix.
‘We were young at Jerry’s Deli, and we had breakfast together. You had eggs with ham and cheese, and what did I have?’ the Happy Gilmore actor said.
‘French toast,’ replied the Friends icon within seconds.
‘And I washed it down with?’ he pressed.
‘Oh, oh, chocolate milk!’ replied an enthusiastic Jennifer, before she teased: ‘Like a grown man should.’
Murder Mystery 2 is streaming on Netflix from Friday, March 31.
