All hail Amy Schumer, who has long advocated for celebrities to “be truthful” about their physical modifications.
The 42-year-old actress has always been upfront about her weight-loss issues, and she previously discussed her choice to get liposuction after delivering child.
Amy described the results of her cosmetic treatment as “very amazing,” and she is now urging other celebs to follow her lead and be open about the work they’ve had done.
Amy stated on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen: ‘Everyone has been lying saying, “Oh lesser quantities.” As in, shut the f*** up.
‘You are on Ozempic or one of those things or you got work done. Just stop. Be real with the people. When I got lipo, I said I got lipo.’
Amy also admitted to using Ozempic, an anti-diabetic medicine that can aid with weight loss.
The I Feel Pretty star, who is mum to four-year-old Gene, said: ‘Like a year ago, I tried it. I was one of those people that felt so sick and couldn’t play with my son.
‘I was so skinny and he’s throwing a ball at me and [I couldn’t]. And you’re like, “OK, this isn’t livable for me.”‘
Amy claimed she finally felt ‘wonderful’ following her liposuction – a treatment that eliminates undesirable body fat – in 2022, after being ‘weary of looking at [herself] in the mirror.’
Amy had both her appendix and uterus removed at the same time owing to endometriosis, a disorder in which tissue identical to the lining of the womb develops in other places.

In April 2021, the Trainwreck actress also said that she had coolsculpting, a fat-freezing procedure, to get rid of her “double chin.”
Amy quipped that it was ‘not what you think’ while receiving the treatment and hilariously pointed to the gadget, parodying celebrities who pretend they haven’t undergone cosmetic treatments.
She said: ‘I just want to say that I’m blessed with the way I look and I’m not gonna be one of those people that gets stuff done. And no offense to the women that do.
‘This is not what you think. It’s not … this is just how I like to rest my head because it feels good. This is the only way I can really relax. It’s not that I’m getting my double chin addressed in a way. So don’t worry about it.’
We love her.
