Britney Spears‘ Christmas tree is already up. Yes, October.
We can’t say we blame the Toxic hitmaker for feeling merry already.
Britney, 41, has had a difficult time recently, following her divorce from Sam Asghari, 29, after 14 months of marriage.
She also raised anxiety among followers after sharing a video of herself dancing about at home with knives, prompting a welfare check from police, which she subsequently dismissed as ‘a joke’.
So who can blame Brit for trying to bring some holiday happiness into her life?
Taking to social media this weekend, the Gimme More singer shared yet another lively dance video shot in the home area we’ve all grown to love.
Britney danced sensually to Beyoncé’s Daddy Lessons while wearing a provocative purple lingerie outfit and knee-high black boots.
The pop diva, who was also wearing a black choker necklace and her hair down and straight, swayed her hips in a risqué show – but there was something else in the background that attracted people’s attention.
Of course, it was her Christmas tree. And it’s incredibly enormous.
Britney evidently can’t wait until December 25, as she’s already turned on the lights.
To each their own!
Britney has disabled comments on her Instagram postings, however she recently apologised for’spooking’ followers with her obviously genuine knife-wielding movements, admitting that the blades she was dancing with were, in fact, fake.
She was less than pleased when officers showed up at her residence to check on her.
‘Is it a joke in the news again with welfare checks??? Come on America … we cooler than that, right ???’ she wrote on Instagram, paired with a picture of a ballerina balancing on knives.
Britney continued: ‘The officers came to my home and said they would not leave until they spoke to me as people do 4 minute performances with them. I am getting an apology.
‘I’ve been bullied in my home for so long now…ITS ENOUGH! Don’t talk about it, come on, let’s DO !!!
‘As my mom does the silent treatment when paps ask questions about her own daughter as if I’m in the wrong…nope it’s an old game. People need to be responsible for their actions! It’s about power for cops.’
Meanwhile, Britney is divorcing her Iranian model husband Sam, whom she married last year in a star-studded wedding attended by Madonna and Paris Hilton.
Sam has kept a quiet profile after revealing that he and Britney had split up.
But, when it comes to ‘bullies,’ he’s still on Britney’s side, having supported her against one in particular.
After Donald Trump Jr, the former US President’s son, published a meme that appeared to humiliate Britney, Sam rushed to Instagram to put him in his place.
Making it clear whose side he’s on, Sam wrote on his Instagram Story: ‘Hey, Little Trump. You won’t stop bullying so I’m here to tell you that being a bully doesn’t make you cool nor [does] it makes you friends.’
He added: ‘And it certainly doesn’t require intelligence to be one.’
He appears to be carrying a torch for the…After all, she is the singer of Baby One More Time.
