Chris Hemsworth is famed for his chiselled figure, and now his personal chef has revealed how the Australian actor keeps his muscles in shape.
The 40-year-old Thor actor engaged the assistance of Michelin-trained chef Sergio Perera ten years ago and has been consulting the Spaniard for nutrition guidance ever since.
The cook, a close friend of the A-lister’s wife Elsa Pataky, 47, developed a reputation for feeding some of Hollywood’s greatest personalities, including Tom Cruise and Leonardo DiCaprio.
On Wednesday, the celebrity chef revealed his cherished secrets and revealed the foods that were keeping Chris healthy.
He told News.com.au: ‘Obviously the guy is a big boy. He requires a lot of protein for the body he has.
‘When it comes to building muscle he just keeps it very clean with of a lot of barbecuing — like meats and vegetables — and keeping it Mediterranean which involves a lot of olive oil.’

Sergio continued: ‘One thing I did religiously with him, was every single day he would have one very large, hearty salad that consisted of raw and cooked vegetables, fermented products, nuts, seeds and a lot of good fats with a piece of steak or a big piece of fish.’
The celebrity chef revealed what he ordered Chris to consume prior of his appearances in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: End Game.
He stated that the star’s day would begin with a huge green smoothie made with leafy vegetables, nuts, fruits, seeds, lipids, and a dash of sea salt.
Chris followed the healthy drink with a protein-packed snack of yoghurt, mixed berries, honey, almonds, and chia seeds.
If he wasn’t in the mood for yoghurt, the actor’s bowl would be replaced with wholegrain bread and eggs with Vegemite and avocado.
Chris deserved a veggie protein smoothie blended with cold water, vitamin C, and BCAAs after his workout.
Before going to bed, the father of three ate some white fish, roasted veggies, and a large nutritious salad.

Chris’s incentive to eat healthily extends beyond his film assignments; during filming for his TV programme, he realised he may be predisposed to Alzheimer’s disease.
While filming Limitless with Chris Hemsworth last year, the actor had a genetic test and discovered he possessed a mutation that may lead to the disease.
