Glenn Close shocked admirers by revealing her damaged face in make-up-free images, claiming that she felt ‘beautiful as ever’.
The Hollywood legend, well known for her appearances in 101 Dalmatians and Fatal Attraction, is no stranger to being open on social media, but this might be one of her most memorable tweets ever.
The 76-year-old took to Instagram to create a variety of goofy expressions in front of the camera while wearing no make-up.
She also had minor damage on her face, as she mentioned in the description of the image.
Along with the new carousel, Glenn wrote, ‘I believe this will be a very GOOD day.
‘(Ignore the bruises. I had a tiny break in my nose fixed) Feeling as beautiful as ever.’

PamBouvierCasting replied: ‘I just LOVE the way you are able to laugh at yourself Glenn.’
As Suzanna_Dale added: ‘Mornings with Glen: the best way to start the day.’

Glenn is still as busy as ever, as he is presently acting in the new Apple TV+ series The New Look alongside Maisie Williams, John Malkovich, and Ben Mendelsohn.
She plays Carmel Snow, former Harper’s Bazaar editor in chief, in the drama, which focuses on how major fashion designers such as Coco Chanel and Christian Dior braved the risks of war to start contemporary fashion.
Glenn revealed why she joined the project, stating that she leaped at the opportunity to work with executive producer Todd A Kessler again following their time on Damages.
‘The truth is, I would do anything for [Todd] after experiencing his brilliance as a writer/director/collaborator on Damages,’ she told Harper’s Bazaar last year.
‘I was thrilled when he asked me to step into the daunting shoes of Carmel Snow in The New Look, and only hope I do justice to one of the truly iconic, game-changing figures in the history of fashion.’
She will also participate in the horror film The Deliverance and Back in Action, alongside Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx.
