Bam Margera has a new Britney Spears-inspired neck tattoo.
As he displayed the new tattoo, the troubled former Jackass star pondered on his stays and rehab and maintained he felt a feeling of camaraderie with the 41-year-old pop diva.
In a video shared by First Hand Tattoo in Pennsylvania showing him getting the tattoo, the 44-year-old star said: ‘So if you haven’t known, I’ve been through the ringer with the longest Florida shuffle, which means if the interventionist knows you have insurance money they’ll find reasons to keep you there forever.
‘So Britney Spears, “Oops they did it to me too!” I’m on your level.’
Along with a smiley face and a heart, the design reads: ‘Britney Spears, oops they did it to me too!’
According to TMZ, the rapper compared his public struggle with addiction and subsequent rehab stints to Britney’s past conservatorship.
He claimed he’s ‘the Guinness book of world records of longest Florida shuffle of nearly 2 years’, allegedly including 10 back-to-back stays in rehab costing a total of $660,000.
He added to the outlet that he’s sick of ‘controlling c***suckers that act like they care for your well-being when it’s all about money’.
Margera, who celebrated a month of recovery last week, has been upfront about his drug difficulties, and he was placed under a 72-hour psychiatric hold earlier this year.
Alongside a photo of with his girlfriend Dannii Marie, he wrote: ‘Thanks to @danniimarieofficial for one month of sobriety and getting me happy, healthy and fit as well as the small circle of friends that have supported us.’
She allegedly gave him an ultimatum to pick between her and booze, and he is claimed to be focusing on reducing weight and getting back into skating.
Margera’s tattoo comes amid allegations that police conducted a welfare check on Britney after she caused worry with a recent Instagram video in which she was dancing while holding two huge knives about.
Although she said in the caption that the blades were not genuine, her fans appeared to be concerned about the upload and apparently contacted the police.
A law enforcement insider told TMZ that officers were able to speak to the mom-of-two, and determined that she was totally fine.
