Kim Kardashian has been quite open about her previous relationships and what went wrong.
Although she did not specifically identify her ex-husband Kanye West, the Skims entrepreneur, 42, made it clear that she was referring to the Grammy-winning musician in a recent interview.
Kim, 45, began dating Kanye in 2012 and married two years later.
The couple divorced in 2021 after having four children: North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4.
Touching upon what she’s learnt from prior relationships, Kim noted this week that ‘you can’t assist individuals that don’t want help’.
She also stated that a relationship is not a ‘failure’ just because it does not work out.
‘Something I learned is that you cannot help people that don’t want the help,’ the doting mum began.
‘You can’t force your beliefs and project that on someone that thinks something totally different.’
She added on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast: ‘It’s okay to have those different views. It’s why the world goes round.
‘But if you don’t align in the same values and morals and things at your core, then it’s okay to realize that this life is so short, and you should go and find the people that do align with what you really believe in.’
Kim also pointed out that while ‘differences can sometimes coexist really well’ that’s not always the case.
‘Sometimes I feel like people think that if a relationship doesn’t work out that it’s a failure, but I don’t really look at it like that 15 years together, 10 years. That’s not a failure. That is so beautiful,’ the reality star wisely added.
Kim’s remarks came only days after Kanye’s new wife Bianca Censori confirmed their marriage.
The father-of-four reportedly married the architect earlier this year in a secret ceremony.
While the new couple had been silent about their marital status, a TikTok user shared a video last week in which Bianca referred to Kanye as her “husband.”
The social media user videotaped a dialogue with the Australian in a shop in Los Angeles and asked for her phone number.
Bianca, on the other hand, apologised for not being able to provide him her contact information because she was married.
Bianca started working for Ye’s firm in November 2020, although it’s unclear how long they’ve known each other.
