According to reports, Rebekah Vardy was brought to the hospital after sustaining a bone-breaking injury in a terrifying accident.
The former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star, who is married to Leicester City player Jamie Vardy, is claimed to have been riding a horse when the incident occurred.
According to reports, once the horse became ‘spooked,’ the 41-year-old slipped off her saddle and was dragged on the ground by her foot being hooked in the stirrup.
‘Becky was rising a horse close to her home in Leicester when it got spooked and threw her from the saddle,’ a friend said.
They continued to The Sun: ‘Her foot got caught in the stirrup and she was dragged along the ground while it was spinning in circles.’
Rebekah was transported to the hospital and given X-rays, which revealed that she had broken the heel of her left foot.
Other bones in her foot were shattered, and she suffered ligament damage, according to reports.
‘Becky is a confident rider but this accident left her pretty badly shaken,’ they added.
Rebekah had to wear a medical boot after being transported to the hospital, and ‘laughed’ at the fact that Coleen Rooney was also wearing one during their so-called ‘Wagatha Christie’ court trial.
The television star is claimed to be hopeful that the boot may be removed in a few weeks, while her husband Jamie, 36, is said to be caring for her.
Coleen Rooney’s new Disney Plus docu-series Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story just reintroduced the Wagatha Christie.
The drama began in 2019, when Coleen, 37, accused Rebekah of leaking ‘fake allegations’ about her to the press, and carried out a sting operation to substantiate her hypothesis.
Following the libel trial last year, Rebekah was compelled to pay a significant portion of Coleen’s legal fees.
Coleen’s three-part series includes interviews with her family, legal team, and other people engaged in the trial.
